The Rocket League Championship Series Winter Split kicks off on Sunday, January 9th with the Closed Qualifiers for Regional Event 1. The Charlotte Phoenix will return to the series with the same roster as the Fall Split, with the addition of a new team coach, Sub’N. Alraz, Beastaboniam, and Delta will head into this competition season with a recent championship win from the Astronaut Star Circuit under their belt. The team has been working towards an RLCS win for a couple of seasons and has their sights set on achieving this goal during the upcoming Winter Split.

“We’re always making sure we work to become the perfect product, and today we showed what we are capable of” commented Beastaboniam following the team’s placement at the RLCS 21-22 Fall Classic.

The team is entering into the RLCS Winter Split as a prospected top 10 roster with high expectations. The RLCS Winter Split consists of three regional events leading into an international major (within these events, teams collect points that determine whether or not they will qualify for world championships.) Sunday’s competition will feature sixteen teams playing best-of-five matches in a Swiss-style format, with the top eight teams proceeding to the Main Event the following weekend.
