Last week, the Charlotte Phoenix announced their arrival into professional World of Warcraft, but the excitement does not stop there.

The Charlotte Phoenix officially announce their return to competitive Call of Duty. This roster includes Bryan “LuNaTiC” Dorantes as Team Captain, followed by Marcos “Spekcy” Ruiz, Jacob “JaKeStaind” Attaway, Juan Carlos “dekk0s” Alvarado, and Will “Sawcer” Hazell as the additional team members.

“We are extremely excited to be back in the Call of Duty Challengers league,” says Josh Richardson, Co-founder of the Charlotte Phoenix. “We love having the Charlotte Phoenix name back in an incredible esports scene. This roster has a lot of heart, and we look forward to seeing them perform.”

Call of Duty Challengers is a “thriving path to pro competitive scene in Call of Duty esports… [that] spotlights rising talent in the Call of Duty esports player pipeline…featuring a prize pool of over $1 million,” (Call of Duty League).

After taking a short break in competitive Call of Duty, the Charlotte Phoenix are back and ready to rise #FromTheAshes.
